When protective clothing is combined with PPE against falls from a height, the protective function
of the protective clothing could be lost in the event of a fall. The loss of the function may
however occur slowly and insidiously; an example is a reduction in the circulation of air within
a protective suit owing to the safety harness worn tightly against the body. The integration of
harnesses into chemical protective suits and other working clothing may be advantageous.
